In a remote city on the outskirts of Paris (FR), Lokead is born, an alternative metal band that draws its essence from contrasts: the organic and the electronic, shadow and light.
Born from a shared vision of total art blending music, visuals, and symbolism, Lokead crafts a singular universe, both brutal and contemplative, rooted in a mystical and dramatic imagination.
In 2024, the band unveils Dusk, a first project that is introspective, almost cathartic. The story begins in the depths of a forgotten consciousness, buried under the weight of silence and pain. As the work progresses, this long-muted voice rises from the abyss, breaks the surface, and confronts the light, marking the birth of a personal, dark, and haunted musical language.
At the end of 2025, Lokead returns with a second opus, Seven, more narrative, more embodied. The project explores the marginalization of a woman cast out by society and accused of witchcraft. Her slow descent into isolation gradually transforms into a rise in power, that of a symbol of resistance against the oppressors. Between dramatic tension and restrained fury, the work maps out a path of intimate transformation into revolt, carried by massive riffs, hazy textures, and spectral voices.
With this new chapter, Lokead asserts an identity that goes beyond music. The band offers an immersive and total experience, where each track acts as a gateway into a dense and coded universe. A way of making music not just to be heard, but to be lived.
